She is the founder and manager of the project Puericultrici Italiane, through which it offers its experience by offering personalized consultations to new mothers, support for newborn sleep, home postpartum care and Maternity Nurse services dedicated to families who want premium assistance.
Today she works actively as a professional childcare provider in Milan, where she offers qualified assistance to newborns and parents during the first months of their child's life.
Her love for this job runs deep: she's been working as a nanny since she was fourteen, and for over twenty years, she's dedicated her professionalism and experience to supporting mothers and their families.
Her passion for early childhood care and constant professional development have led her to create a network of highly qualified childcare workers and nannies, with the aim of offering families a reliable, competent, and excellence-oriented point of reference.

Thanks to a wealth of experience in the field, May meets the needs of new mothers, accompanying them through the delicate postpartum period. She firmly believes that continuous support is the key to achieving lasting results: helping the baby develop good habits, promoting a proper sleep-wake routine, and teaching parents the best techniques for sleep, breastfeeding, and weaning.
May Okoye specializes in caring for premature babies and twins. To offer families the best possible support, she continues to update her knowledge through specialized courses and seminars on infant sleep, breastfeeding, healthy eating, newborn massage, and support techniques for breastfeeding mothers.
Over the years, she has worked on both short-term projects and following the growth of children from birth to six years old, through long-term collaborations with board and lodging or, when requested, offering exclusively nighttime care and personalized consultations.
Her goal coincides with her greatest satisfaction: contributing to the well-being of the entire family, helping parents live their child's first years of life with serenity and accompanying them towards a peaceful and continuous sleep.

Studies and specialization
He studied Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University “Wisdom” of Rome.
He then attended the international course Infant & Toddler/Child Care for International Nannies a Charlotte, North Carolina (USA), specializing in professional care for newborns and children in early childhood.
She also deepened her skills in neonatal care and child development by attending specialized courses and seminars at colleges across the United States.
He achieved the Childcare Diploma, a professional figure recognized by the Ministry of Health, at the’Technical Institute Duemila, a school authorized to train childcare workers since 1978. The diploma is recognized and valid in Italy and other European Union countries.

The general Italian public knows and appreciates her as “Nanny May”, a role she held as a resident educator in the sixth and seventh seasons of the famous docu-reality SOS Nanny, broadcast on Fox Life and La7. In this context, she stood out for her authoritative, empathetic, and multilingual educational approach.
